Kathy Jarzynka is a proud graduate of the Houston County School System and has been teaching since 2015. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a math emphasis from Grand Canyon University and a master’s degree from Mercer University, along with STEM and coaching endorsements.

Kathy was honored as MAPS’ very first Teacher of the Month and Teacher of the Year. She’s passionate about helping young learners grow and thrive every day. Outside of school, Kathy enjoys traveling, playing softball, and spending time with her husband, two teenage sons, and their stylish cat, Henry, who’s known for his bowtie.
