My name is Sarah Kilmer and I have been teaching art in the Houston County School System for 14.5 years. I have a Bachelors in Art Education, a Masters in Accomplished Teaching, as well as a Specialists in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University. Over the years, I have worked at Perry Middle, Quail Run Elementary, and Feagin Mill Middle and have met and worked alongside some amazing people. I decided to make the change back to elementary school so that I could be with my daughters. I have one in Pre-K and one in the First grade. I must admit, it's pretty great getting to see them a few times throughout the day. Also, it's great to see students get excited about art, if you're familiar with middle schoolers, they don't get excited about much (haha). I know this is going to be a great year and I'm looking forward to seeing all the beautiful works of art these students create!
