Mrs. Woods is a proud product of Houston County Schools. She graduated from Northside High School.   She earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Florida A & M University.  She's taught third gra.de in Tallahassee, Florida and Macon, Georgia and first grade in Houston County.  She was at Matt Arthur for 15 years where she was the 2016-17 Teacher of the Year. She is excited to continue her career at Matt Arthur Primary.

Mrs. Woods is married with two children.  She enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.

She believes that every child had strengths and talents and strives to NEVER give up on any student.
